“For the past 54 years, the Russian International Academy for Tourism has been providing its students with a quality and reliable education, as well as helping them in excellent prospective employment!”: with these words, the solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas to graduates of the Russian International Academy for Tourism began.
At the beginning of the ceremony, RIAT Rector, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Evgeniy Nikolayevich Trofimov warmly welcomed the graduates, emphasizing that obtaining a bachelor's degree is only the first stage of education. The Academy provides many opportunities for advanced training, retraining, obtaining a second higher education or continuing education at the master's and postgraduate levels. At the same time, it is possible to continue education in master's programs after obtaining the qualification "bachelor", and for postgraduate programs after completing a specialty, such as "Customs".
Diplomas with honors were awarded first. They were received by graduates of secondary vocational education and bachelor's degree. Diplomas were presented to graduates by RIAT Rector Yevgeny Nikolaevich Trofimov, Chairman of the Owners Association of Historical Estates, Doctor of Cultural Studies Mikhail Yuryevich Lermontov and Vice-Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Tourism Management Aliluyko Elena Arkadyevna.
Each graduate who received diplomas with honors was presented with the book “50 Years Together” about the history of RIAT, and some graduates got winner diplomas of the competition for final qualification works and diplomas for active participation in the public life of the Academy.
Diplomas with honors were awarded to the students of the Secondary Vocational Education Faculty by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee Khimki city region Dryannov Alexander Pavlovich and Vice-Rector, Dean of the Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education, Doctor of Political Science Zhidkikh Vladimir Alexandrovich.
The Graduates of the “Management” specialties of the profiles “International Management in Tourism”, “Management of Hotel and Restaurant Enterprises”, “Management of the Sanatorium and Resort Business”, “Personnel Management” and “State and Municipal Administration” were solemnly awarded diplomas by the Honorary President of the Russian Union of Tourism Industry, Candidate in Economics, Head of Management and Economics Department Sergey Pavlovich Shpilko, Head of the Administration of the Khimki city region Education Department Bolgova Irina Vladimirovna and Candidate of Military Sciences, Head of State and Municipal Administration and Personnel Management Department Vladimir Mikhailovich Voblikov.
For congratulations and awarding of Diplomas to future lawyers, the Head of the Territorial Department of microdistricts Skhodnya-Firsanovka Sergey Sergeevich Petrukhin and the Head of Civil Law Disciplines Department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Guseva Irina Vitalievna took the floor.
Graduates of "Tourism", "Hospitality", "Design of the Architectural Environment" and "Psychological and Pedagogical Education" specialties were awarded Diplomas by Dmitrieva Alexandra Vladimirovna, Head of Communications and Public Relations of the tour operator "LOTİ" Department and Head of Tourism and Hotel Business Department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Arseny Roman Mikhailovich.
The solemn ceremony continued in the hall, where a creative photo zone was organized for graduates, their friends and parents. This year, the alumni wish book appeared at the Academy, where everyone could write kind words to their Academy and teachers who made every effort to develop the personality of the children both at the Faculty of Tourism Management for undergraduate programs and at the Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education. The wishes were mainly for the 55th anniversary of the RIAT, which the Academy celebrates in 2024.
